Modern Teak Inspired by the California Coast
The Monterey Collection is Barlow Tyrie's take on mid-century modern aesthetics recreated with timeless teak. The range takes its name from Monterey Bay, a scenic spot on the central California coast famous for its historic Cannery Row district and vibrant marine life.Â
Solid in its construction, Monterey pairs first-grade plantation teak frames with Italian high-fired ceramic tabletops to capture elegance and modernity. Most seats and backs are beautifully braided from cord for aesthetics, functionality, and comfort. The all-teak armchair is sculpted to provide long-lasting luxury; plus, the slat design will harmonize perfectly with the corded version of this award-winning armchair.Â
Monterey comprises a regular and adjustable deep-seating armchair, an ottoman, and a 3-seater sofa. Seating comes in Textilene braided cord chalk or grade-A teak. The Monterey dining tables feature an attractive ceramic top and are available with or without a parasol hole.
