Rather than using virgin plastic, HOUE designer Henrik Pederson employed a "cradle to cradle" approach to create the ReCLIPS collection. Household Danish trash is repurposed into plastic lamellas that are clipped onto a thin powder-coated aluminum frame for stylish dining and lounge seating. This approach reduces the total amount of energy used in the production process and sets a strong example of responsibility and sustainability in the luxury furniture industry.
Like all HOUE products, ReClips honors the heritage of Danish design and craftsmanship. The wide lamellas are slightly curved for ergonomic support and are enhanced with UV protection, requiring little to no maintenance. These practical considerations are expressed in four beautiful color options. Choose between a monochromatic colorway, with matching aluminum armrests, or opt for a warm and natural look with the addition of bamboo armrests.
The dining armchair and bar stool are lightweight and stackable, ideal for both hospitality and residential environments. Pair with any of HOUE's contemporary dining tables to create an outdoor dining setting worthy of great conversations and delicious meals.
