The Fionia Stool is an expression of brilliant design and workmanship. The stool is elegant even when folded. It can be used in every room of the home, as a footstool, side table, bedside table or as a stand for flowers. The Fionia Tray fits nicely atop this stool, or can be used alone as a beautiful serving tray.
The Nomad Stool is the minimalist answer to the classic three-legged stool. It is crafted from beautiful untreated oak and will convince by its functionality: space-saving; soft round edges, stackable.
The Dania Stool is the jack of all trades: a seat for kids, a step stool for top shelves, sink or anything hard to reach, or a rest for your feet. It comes in teak or oak. The teak version could even be an outdoor assistant.

Teak is commonly found in Southeast Asia and Central and South America. Our FSC-certified teak comes from Southeast Asia, Central America and Brazil, while our non-certified teak comes from plantations in Indonesia and Trinidad; managed to sustain a renewable and reliable supply of wood. Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly weather and rot resistant and is therefore a good choice for outdoor furniture.
Caring for Teak. Skagerak suggests to do a general cleaning when needed with a suitable wood cleaner and soft bristle brush. Rinse afterwards with clear water and let it dry. Note: Wipe off tables, benches and chairs after dinner and such with a dry cloth.
As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn into a beautiful silvery gray color. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden color, Skagerak advises to use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. No matter what you choose, the wood will be resistant to everyday wind and weather thanks to the high content of natural oils.
During winter we advise you to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar.
Oak grows in most temperate zones. Skagerak's oak comes from European forests and is either 100% FSC certified or FSC mix certified, supporting sustainable forest management. The selection of the wood is extremely careful and all processing is by hand, so that only the best and most durable pieces of wood are used in production. Oak is a sturdy and hardwearing type of wood containing natural tannings that will protect against bacterial growth. Combined with its light, elegant color and well-defined grains, this makes oak wood a safe choice for high-quality interior.
Caring for Oak. The wood comes with no finish. If you choose not to treat it with soap or oil, use a suitable cleaning agent for wood.
As the wood is untreated it may be affected by grease and colorants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product. Be aware that the wood will change color when applying soap or oil.
