Pendulum by Woodline Shade Solutions is a strikingly bold and strong cantilever parasol with 360-degree, head-turning rotation and moderate wind rating. This cantilever rates on the higher end of today's market.

Coming from the land of sunshine, South Africa, Pendulum has been engineered to withstand rapid changes from blazing sunshine, and driving rain to some wind. Every facet of this cantilever umbrella assures strength and longevity—from a weather-resistant anodized aluminum frame, and stout stainless steel fittings, to colorfast and water-resistant outdoor fabric. The canopy comes standard in Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fiber.

Pendulum's signature features are the 360-degree rotation with a locking feature to block the sun from various angles; a smooth, marine-grade crank system for effortless opening and closing; an attractive but weather-proven eucalyptus hub, and premium quality stainless steel linkages. In short, Pendulum embodies the highest-level outdoor proficiency to the smallest detail. Pendulum's moderate wind rating is achieved by a patented canopy clip mechanism in combination with hooks that fixate the canopy securely to the parasol structure. The whole system is extremely strong and quick to detach and reattach. It enables the cantilever to endure forces that large-size canopies are sometimes subjected to. This makes Pendulum perfect for commercial locations such as patios, restaurants, hotels, and poolsides.

The Pendulum cantilever is only sold together with one of Woodline's bases. Each base has been specifically engineered to add strength and stability when open. Click on the product Details to find out more.

Wind guidelines: The Pendulum cantilevers are designed to handle moderate winds in the fully opened position. As with all umbrellas, use common sense and lower the umbrella canopy as winds increase. Keep the canopy folded and strapped when unattended.
