ASA plastic is exceptionally UV stable, which means it retains its color even if exposed to strong sunlight. ASA tolerates large fluctuations in temperature and pressure and also flexes easily to provide maximum comfort. In short, ASA is the ideal synthetic material for outdoor furniture. Stainless steel rusts when used outdoors if left untreated. Stainproof is a brand-new mechanical finish developed by Skagerak for treating stainless steel. This finish makes the surface extremely resistant to surface rust. At the same time, it provides an elegant, almost soft, silky matte surface that is delightful to the touch and beautiful to look at.
